So I bought these strictly for work. I am a lawn and landscaper for 22 years. I have been through 22 years of boots. So far so good I must say. I cannot stand to have wet feet. After a month of use my feet are dry and I couldn’t ask for better comfort. I like having a little wiggle room for my toes which these provide. Saying that these are true to size in my opinion. They have great traction as well as the Vibram sole which is a bonus! These are rather pricey but if they last me for a season..then they were well worth it. I have tried Keen, Merrill and a few others boots and those are a 2 pair a season boot. So at $100 for those others.. I’d much rather spend the extra $65-$70 for a very decent boot which I believe these are. I’m sure they would be a very good hiking boot as well. I will probably use them for that this summer. I shall leave another review here in about three months to see how well these have held up. ?I usually wear a size 9 in hiking boots, but sized up a half size after reading some reviews. I shouldn't have, these boots are very roomy, especially the toe box, almost too roomy. Boots were too big and I sent them back. Comfy though.I purchased these 10 months ago. Trying to be fair, I waited to do a written review on the whole enchilada until I gave the product a fair chance final , I think 10 months is a fair run for the money- here is the update. If these don't feel great out of the box, they DON'T-WON'T improve. There is a synthetic portion that runs across the top of the shoe, just at the base of the laces and across the top of the foot, which will not break-in unless you use a heat gun and a shoe stretcher, period. The material used at the base of the laces (see attached pic) is not leather, its synthetic and it thus it just doesn't break in, won't conform to your foot nor will give any at all. I have no issue with paying the price of these shoes if the quality is there, it wasn't in this Teva Design. Unless you have a very narrow, slim, skinny foot I cannot recommend. With a price tag of just under 175.00, RUN Forest, Run! These are NOT worth the price.Man, I miss my Teva Riva eVents these are more expensive but NOT even close to the quality of any other Teva product I have purchased in the last 20 yrs.I do utility inspections and occasionally locate utilities. So I do quite a bit of walking in adverse conditions. I bought these to experiment with different boots besides the same old “Georgia boot” style slip-on boots. So after two weeks of wearing these, I’m completely blown away by the comfort and sturdiness of these boots. The image I attached to this is after quite a long walk through a muddy and wet construction site on the side of a busy road. I was soaked from mid-calf down, yet my feet remained dry as a bone. I rinse these off with a hose every day to clean mud a debris off, and my feet will still be dry. There was virtually no break-in period on my pair, and they were comfortable from day one with no blisters, rubs, or soreness of feet.I have found myself a new brand of work boots/shoes! Thanks Teva!Id also like to state that this is my first time owning ANY Teva product. Pretty impressed!Para trabajarFit great, rugged and lightUsed for trail and broken rock climbs, the foot gear fits as it should.
