I have a 12 year old Joe Rocket jacket that has held up well. Has had 60,000 miles over the road and in the woods. The zippers on the old one are more HD than the new one. Hopefully the zippers will hold up over time on this new jacket.This is my second Joe Rocket jacket which after 15 years was worn out. Fit: 6'1", 240 lbs and I got a 2XL. The jacket fits slightly on the big size especially in the waist, I easily could be several inches taller and 20+ lbs heavier and I think it would still fit. The mesh panels do exactly as advertised, and allow copious amounts of air to flow through, so anywhere from low 80's and up have been fine with me. This jacket won't let you melt at traffic lights as well. Haven't tried the jacket with the liner yet, but the liner is a vest style only. Probably would tighten the fit. The armor doesn't poke and molds nicely over the shoulders and elbow, did replace the useless spine pad with a CE level 2 pad however.The material and zippers all seem to be at least very good quality, everything worked and there were no defects noted.For my needs, and for the price, I am very satisfied.Better than expected would definitely recommend got a size Large 5’10 190lbs fit perfect only complaint would be could use better armor but overall love the jacketThis jacket fit just right. I can’t complain. FYI, I found out that my surface pro can fit in the back armor pocket if needed.the fit was too looseVery comfortable jacket. 1)Could use more vent. in chest area bc it gets a little warm. 2) Could come with better spine protection. All in All not bad at all. Look for sales, I found one in Blue, not my 1st choice, for $58.46, saved over $140. Look through the options!This jacket is of very high quality for the price. I’m 5’10” 145 lbs and the medium fit a little short on me (hence why I have it 4 stars instead of 5), but aside from that it’s worth every penny. Just buy it.
