This jacket fits well and looks quite sharp in a very understated way. I've had this jacket for a month now in a range of conditions and it's an excellent jacket to use as a standalone piece or as a mid-layer under an outer shell to provide some insulation.I initially ordered a size medium jacket as that is the usual shirt size I wear and the size of the last jacket I owned, but it fit well in the shoulders but the sleeves and body of the jacket were too long. After exchanging for a small the fit was excellent with decent room in the shoulders and a good range of motion. The cut is such that when you raise your arms above your shoulders, it will lift the hem of the jacket to show your shirt but this does not concern me as in the normal range of motion that you use, everything fits well and does not hinder your movements.The fabric of the jacket is indeed coated with a material (I would assume Teflon as that is what it says in the literature) that causes the water to bead up on the surface far better than any other softshell that I have worn before. I would consider it to be good for light showers and short duration of exposure as it will start to soak in after a short amount of time.Overall I would consider this to be a very good and high quality jacket and one that I would encourage others to consider before similar offers from more well-known brands due to the quality of this product.
